Someone is listening.

If you have read my last blog, you would know that I have blurted out a lot of things. (because, seriously, a lot are happening right now)

So before you continue reading this blog, I really recommend that you read the previous blog first so you would appreciate and get the hang of this blog…because if you don’t, well, you will not get anything or you won’t understand a thing about what I would like to share.

Ok let’s stop here. I am saying too much right now. Go ahead. Read the previous blog first.

Hey God!

Heeeeeya, God!

Finish?

Ok.

So just a few moments ago, I was rolling on my bed with my journal on one hand and my phone on the other. It’s time for a quiet time again. And to tell you the truth, I was really tempted to just sleep. Reading bible every night requires discipline especially if you are tired….ok, if the aircon is doing great in making the room conducive for a good sleep and when there are a lot of pillows around me.

I opened my bible app. And started to read it for my daily dose of quiet time with God.

1 Peter 5:8-11

Keep a cool head. Stay alert. The Devil is poised to pounce, and would like nothing better than to catch you napping. Keep your guard up. You’re not the only ones plunged into these hard times. It’s the same with Christians all over the world. So keep a firm grip on the faith. The suffering won’t last forever. It won’t be long before this generous God who has great plans for us in Christ—eternal and glorious plans they are!—will have you put together and on your feet for good. He gets the last word; yes, he does.

I hope you got something from the long verse because I got a lot.

All along I thought He wasn’t listening.
